How We Help

Be yourself, build confidence and thrive.

Corey’s Farm provides animal-assisted and nature-based therapeutic intervention for children and young people facing emotional and physical challenges.

Time spent with animals and in nature can create opportunities to connect, communicate, build confidence and enjoy new experiences in a calm and welcoming environment.

We recognise that every child and young person is different, so our approach is shaped around the individual rather than expecting them to fit into a set way of doing things.

Who We Support

Support shaped around the individual.

Corey’s Farm supports children and young people facing a range of emotional and physical challenges. This may include diagnosed or undiagnosed additional needs, rare syndromes or SWANs (syndromes without a name), illness, trauma and other circumstances where additional support may be beneficial.

A diagnosis isn’t what defines the person we support. We focus on the individual — their interests, strengths, needs and the experiences that can help them feel comfortable, engaged and supported.

What happens at Corey’s Farm

Connect with animals

Spending time with animals can provide opportunities for connection, responsibility, communication and confidence in an environment that feels natural and engaging.

Explore nature

Being outdoors provides space to explore, discover and experience the natural world at an individual pace, away from some of the pressures of more traditional environments.

Learn through experience

Practical, hands-on activities create opportunities to develop skills, try something new and experience a sense of achievement through meaningful participation.
